Thunder Scientific NVLAP Accredited Calibration Laboratory
Thunder Scientific achieved accreditation in June of 2003 through the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) and has maintained NVLAP accreditation ever since. Thunder Scientific is currently the only NVLAP accredited calibration laboratory with an uncertainty of 0.31 %RH of reading*. All Thunder Scientific calibrations are traceable to the International System of Units (SI) through NIST-maintained standards. Thunder Scientific provides SI traceable calibration service on virtually any type of humidity, frost/dew point, temperature and pressure measuring/generating equipment. Final calibration, test and certification are performed in an environmentally-controlled calibration laboratory and NVLAP accredited Certificates of Calibration with Statements of Conformance are delivered with each instrument stating SI traceability. In addition to routine calibrations, Thunder Scientific can provide special test design with automated test sequence for evaluation of sensor performance and stability analysis. We deliver on time service (expedite service is available) with defect free documentation as per the guidelines of ISO/IEC 17025 and ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994; Part 1.

Thunder Facilities / Manufacturing and Calibration
Thunder Scientific has been designing and manufacturing humidity calibration standards and humidity calibration equipment for over 50 years. Our current manufacturing facility is laid out with multiple production capacity for building the Model 1200, 2500 and 3900 humidity calibration systems. Thunder fabricates the majority of the components, sub contractors are utilized for a variety of parts and supplies. The various models are tested and inspected throughout the production process, high quality standards are in place to produce identical reliable products with zero defects. Thunder Scientific has implemented multi check procedures to provide the highest quality and value to our customers.
